Just put the mbrp cool duels on my crew cab short bed and used the extra 18" long pipe for the long bed version as a muffler delete pipe. It is a perfect fit and sounds awesome. jet sound and black smoke out both sides of truck. The fit and quality of this system is 2nd to none.:ro)

Have to agree with you. Got mine on about 2 weeks ago and they are pretty descent. Also, thumbs up to DPPI.

Bought a Bully Dog Dual Exhaust awhile ago and personally I did not appreciate the way it is put together and how they say it bolts right in. Took me and a buddy two full days to complete fabrication on it to make it work, sounds great in all but who wants all that bullshiznit for $700.00.

How’s the mid range, the highway sound. I don't want to hear the exhaust on the highway as it will all be drowned out by complaint from my passengers if you catch my drift.
I want the look of the cool duels when I have my chip I want the smoke from both sides):h !

muddinmoon,
If you leave the cat alone (otherwise you'll have to add the Finger and EGR block off) the sound is near stock except when you have your foot in it. You will hear more turbo whistle too, but that's a good thing!!!

Well the turbo is the best part:ro) . My 1500 with the 5.3 sounded like a cigarette boat going down the highway:eek: I don't want that again. But i did want to lower the EGT's so I might just have to deal with the extra rumble.
