Run mine as a daily driver, backing into parking spaces, is the only thing that I do different than if I was running a smaller vehicle.

Been driving mine daily for 3-1/2 years. You just learn to park in the end of the lots where there is no problem manuvering. ;) I love my dually!

I have an '02 cc lb dually, I use to have a '93 ec lb dually. A little different but it is true you do have to choose where you are going to park. But I guess that is the price you have to pay to have a big truck. You will definetly get use to it. Give it time and it will be second nature to you.

I love my dually it is like everybody else says; you just learn how to drive and park so you are ok. I am the kind of person that goes through a drive thru with my truck and trailer so I don't mind it at all.

Talk with Super Diesel, his dually can run 11's, Just make sure you have plenty of money for tranny parts, they love to tear stuff up with high horse power!!

Yes you can still go through a drive thru, you just have to take it a little wider.....:D

I have had my CC LB dually for about 3 weeks. At first it was 2 big. It takes about 1 1/2 weeks to completely adjust to. I think you will be fine.):h

does the size of these trucks make a big difference in fuel mileage. im thinking my friends reg cab longbed weights about 6'200lbs and IIRC these are somewhere in the neighborhood of 75 or 78 maybe, does the weight make a differnce in how powerful the truck feels in unloaded driving, if that makes any sense

It'll make some difference in feel. One good thing is the when you want to stand on it the tires won't just go up in smoke like a SRW.

Yes it makes a difference on fuel mileage. Probably a good 2-3 mpg difference because of the weight, and extra width and all.

I've drove duallys since 98. I love them. Some spots are a Biatch to get into/out of but that's just an excuse for me not to go places I don't want to go, "oops, sorry my truck won't fit."

A word of caution about the crew cab: YOU'LL ALWAYS BE THE DESIGNATED DRIVER WHETHER YOU WANT TO BE OR NOT!!!:( (something about having more cab room or something they tell me.)

Here's another way to think about it - it's not a dually, it's a regular truck with training wheels! ;)
