Lots are running H2 tires which are close to 12.5X35-17.
Rim offset makes a big difference on the max tire size.

I got 33's (285/75's) on mine and only the Tbars cranked. I bet you could get a 305/75 with no problems

JhnZ71,
33's are 305's and and they do fit with some trimming.

285s are 33" tall to just not as wide. I have some Daton Timberline MTs amd I have not touched the suspension at all. She still has the good old frontward slant. I like it that way so when I load it up it sets level and does not turn into a rocket.

Hey Dmax Tim did I see you in Freddyville Monday? If I did I waved at ya.

I thought that it maybe your Hummer.:offtopic:

ive got the 305's with a 4" rancho suspension lift. My buddy put the 305's on with no lift and they do rub slightly. I have no problem. Milage suffered about 4 1/2 miles per gallon too.

My experience:
Currently running 295 A/T BFGs without any problem.
Originaly had 315 maxxis mudders... rubbed pretty good on the frame at full turn. Of course, I have the T-bars cranked and did some trimming.

My Advice:
Taking your time with a good drimal tool you can do a clean job on the trimming. I say you can do some 295s easy (look at the Nitto Terra Grapplers... nice tire with a nice price). I am not sure how much higher your front end would be over mine with green keys, but you might be able to go with some 315s. I was running factory wheels which hurt me due to the lack of offset. If you went with a 315 and a wheel that would get the tire away from the frame, you have a nice setup.

i run the 315/70R17 BFGs on weld wheels with 5.125" back spacing. I rub occasinally, but with some fender well reshaping you can really reduce it. I have a front replacment bumper as well, no trimming necessary up there but you would with the stock front. Also, even with necessary off roading (hunting/fishing trips) I have never rubbed on metal front or rear.......
