My engine seems to be considerabely louder than other LB7's, im not saying the turbo or exhaust. It it about 3/4 what a 7.3 Powerstroke sounds like, anyone know what is causing this??:grd:

Mine seems to vary. Sometimes louder and other times I almost can't hear it. Always loud on cold morning startups. I figured it was normal.

i guess, my friends always seems to be a whole lot quieter though, I just hope its nothin serious

i was a 7.3 powerstroke man long long ago in a far away galixy and as they got more miles on them they got louder till like almost 100 thou i use to be good at guessing howmany miles were on peoples 7.3 just form hearing them to a point. it will amaze you if you had a new 7.3 right by one with like 150 thou on it.

mine dose much of the same... loud on cold mornings and sometimes it just seems louder than others I guess its normal its been like this from day one it I now have 55,000 miles on it :cool:

I have the same problem, however not only is mine louder than others it also seems to be lacking in power.
