I had asked before about a 2 gauge +Attitude A pillar mount, but although I though I saw one somewhere, they don't seem to exist.

Would it be possible to get a 3 gauge pod from DPPI, cut off the bottom pod, and attach one of the standalone Attitude mounts (designed to "snap" over the stock A-Pillar) to the 3 gauge pillar where the bottom pod was?

Should be possible, it'll depend on your trimming skills as far as the final outcome look wise though. If it looks good I suspect the sales will rise. If you want to try it I'll make you a special price on them as a test item.
