I am on the fence whether to purchase a Monroe truck. My plans for it would be to lift it similar to the Marshall Motoart truck. My questions are what all is involved with the lift? I have read most run Deavers and a good set of Kings. Is that all that is involved, or am I missing something? I would also assume one would want to do the Suncoast trans just for the size of tires I would run, but is that it?

I just want to have an idea of what is involved with getting it to sit right before I pull the trigger. Any help would be appreciated.

You might already know this, but depending on the lift you want to keep an eye on your drive shafts.

Every fiber of me wants to just call Marshall and ask them, but I hate to waste someone's time. Drive shaft mods would seem pretty in line with a fair amount of lift.

My guess was that Deavers would run 3-4K, Kings another 2-3K, and a nice set of 22.5' Super Singles and 48 Michelins. I just seems like there has got to be more to it.

Well you've got a good start here's what else will need to be done. Steering arm will need to be remade or modified (on the axle), drag link modified, sway bar mounts for the front and or rear, new shock mounts front/rear, panhard bar in front, rear spring hangers need to be changed, brake lines need to be longer, and I also added hyd. assist on the steering. I went with Atlas Springs, but only beacause when I lifted mine Deaver wouldn't make springs big enough for me. Keep in mind that depending on your wheels offset the front may stick out a lot more than the rear. I had to narrow my front axle 5" each side to make everything look right. Don't forget to keep everything street legal as far as headlights and tail lights go. 54" headlight max, 72" tail light max here in CA. Depending on what shocks you go with your price might be low on your above figure. Let me know if there's something else you need to know.
