I'm just here to learn for now. Paying off debt so I can get a nice truck and camper to take the fam traveling.
I'm really leaning toward a diesel. Any recommendations of threads or parts of the board to look at? It looks like a wealth of information here. Any opinions on what year you think is best and why? I don't want to start anything, but just wanted to get some input.

Welcome dude! Opinons are all over the place... Depending on what your budget for a truck is that'll steer you in a semi-specific direction. If you're gonna tow and camp, the diesel is the way to go. I'd try to see what body style you like best and see if your taste fits your wallet!

I think I like the 2003+ GMC the best, but wouldn't turn down a Chevy if it had what I wanted. Doesn't seem like a big selection of used diesels out there.
