my rpm's surge when idling.Truck runs great other than this. Going on a long trip this weekend,and I dont want to be left sitting along side the road. What could this be? All stock 01 max. Help!

Tel9000 05-08-2005, 11:27 PM You need a new fuel pressure regulator. If you are out of warranty, it will cost you about $750 to replace. That is what is slowing me down from replacing it. I have driven over 40k miles with this condition. I need to get it done soon, though. It is driving me nuts.
