: Something wrong with this truck? Or maybe I'm blind
Stardumb 07-05-2009, 06:00 PM Okay, http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=u&car_id=263363051&dealer_id=82380&car_year=2006&rdm=1246830984609&model=&num_records=100&systime=&make3=AMC&make2=GMC&highlightFirstMakeModel=&start_year=1981&keywordsfyc=&keywordsrep=&engine=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=Diesel&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=100&marketZipError=false&model3=&model2=&search_lang=en&sownerid=586852&showZipError=y&make=CHEV&keywords_display=&color=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&drive=4+wheel+drive&default_sort=mileageASC&seller_type=b&max_mileage=&style_flag=1&sort_type=mileageASC&address=92692&feature4=leather+seats&advanced=y&end_year=2010&doors=&transmission=&max_price=25000&cardist=19&standard=false
Now in the interior picture of the side of the drivers side. How come it does not have lumbar and tilt lever? I know in my father-in-law's 2004 Chevy 2500 he has both on the side and my wife's 2002 suburban has them on the side too. Do the 3500 series not have this? Is it manual?
Ramblinrodney 07-05-2009, 08:01 PM It looks like power= LT
big block 88 07-05-2009, 08:37 PM That is just a lightly optioned 3LT to me. It was just not ordered with lumbar and recline
Stardumb 07-05-2009, 09:58 PM Without driving to check it out, do you think it has manual recline and lumbar?
stump_breaker 07-05-2009, 10:01 PM That is the way mine is set up and I have an LT2 package. Manual recline and no lumbar.
Kidder 07-05-2009, 10:05 PM I thought only the 3500s came with dual wheels in that model series. ???
DURAtotheMAX 07-05-2009, 10:10 PM yep, as stump breaker said its an LT2 with leather. If it was an LT3 its "mandatory" to get the full feature "AN3" (thats the RPO code) buckets (10/12way leather power and heated)...
so, you cant have an LT3 without the AN3 seats, and you cant have an LT2 with the AN3 seats.
IIRC sunroof, rear seat entertainment, and the full feature AN3 bucket seats are the only "exclusive" options that require/can only be had with the LT3 package. Everything else (leather, auto climate control, bose, steering wheel controls) can be had with (optioned into) an LT2
although, a truck like the original poster posted a link to is kind of an oddball...why would someone pay that much extra on top of an LT2 package (to get all those options) when they could spend probably another 800 dollars and just get the LT3 with heated 12 way leather seats... kind of a silly truck IMO...

That IS a 3500. ;)
I dont see any dual rear wheels...its a 3500 SRW.
Stardumb 07-05-2009, 11:00 PM So it doesn't have heated seats?

no...look at the pictures. IF those are pictures of the actual truck, the no, it does NOT have heated seats. It wouldnt be the first time ive seen a dealer mess up a vehicle's description, but its kinda hard for pictures to lie. ;)

saratoga 07-06-2009, 09:50 AM I've seen some inconsistencies between the 2LT's such as the steering wheel controls, auto climate control, single vs 6 disc changers, but haven't ever seen one with leather (not to say they don't exist). No seat heater control on the passenger side door.
...and shouldn't the 3500 SRW have steel wheels with 265's?

Yes. All 3500s came with steel wheels and 265s.
So it doesn't have heated seats?
Doesn't appear to have heated seats. Oh BTW, you know it's an LLY not an LBZ right?
ripmf666 07-06-2009, 12:39 PM no heated seats, driver side power 6 way only also only came with steel wheels, someone has added those, along with it had both head gaskets replaced because of the glow plugs.
ripmf666 07-06-2009, 12:41 PM Okay, http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=u&car_id=263363051&dealer_id=82380&car_year=2006&rdm=1246830984609&model=&num_records=100&systime=&make3=AMC&make2=GMC&highlightFirstMakeModel=&start_year=1981&keywordsfyc=&keywordsrep=&engine=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=Diesel&awsp=false&search_type=both&distance=100&marketZipError=false&model3=&model2=&search_lang=en&sownerid=586852&showZipError=y&make=CHEV&keywords_display=&color=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&drive=4+wheel+drive&default_sort=mileageASC&seller_type=b&max_mileage=&style_flag=1&sort_type=mileageASC&address=92692&feature4=leather+seats&advanced=y&end_year=2010&doors=&transmission=&max_price=25000&cardist=19&standard=false

If you look at the pic with both doors open it does have the tilt lever.

X2 its right on the bottom, you can even see the cutout in one of the other pics as well.
As far as heated, they might be heated but you won't know until you see the door panel. Thats where all the controls for heat and memory reside.

No heated seats I ran the vin earlier for shits and giggles :D
Stardumb 07-06-2009, 04:00 PM I just want to say thanks. I don't think I'll be buying this one now. One last question, was it 2006 and on the 6 speed Allison or 2005 and on?

Answered your own ques...
ripmf666 07-06-2009, 06:39 PM Its a LLY code with a 6 spd, I all rights its a LBZ with less of a tune in it from GM.
09dave52 07-07-2009, 08:30 PM If the truck is an 06 with cloth seat covers, it doesn't have a lumbar support. I prefer cloth seat covers and had to have a lumbar support installed in the seat, otherwise I would have to have leather to get the lumbar support.
My dealer had it installed and no problems.
