I came across a crashed 93, 6.5 with a BRAND NEW REMAN turbo for cheap. He said i can have the manifold, turbo, lines, plumbing for $200 and another $100 for the 6.5 heads so would it be worth it to pull the heads into the deal?

I have a 85 half ton that i picked up dirt cheap from a farmer with decent miles that i am looking to put 2" lift kit 33" mt tires and pull my mud truck, boat and daily drive at the same time.

Whats your input on the heads? Would they drop the comp ratio so i maybe could run 12psi or is it not even worth it to swap them. Id like to change the head gaskets anyways since i will be turboing it

Also should i pop the injectors off? and swap them to the 6.2 ????

the injectors would be a good idea and id pick up a pyrometer for your new turbo dont run more than 1100*F. as for the heads let someone with more experience tell you cause i dont want someone to be out 100 bucks cause of me

I would get them but not put them on until needed. Spare parts. Can have them cleaned and fluxed and have them ready so when you do have a problem you can just swap them in and go.

heads won't drop compression. but will burn more fuel with the larger precups. if you put the turbo on, the 6.5 injectors will allow the lines to clear the passanger manifold better as they are shorter. if you want to drop compression, use thicker head gaskets.
