What are you guy's with NOS running for jet sizes??

60 or 70 or 100 or 120 ???

What's a good way to determine the proper size, keep going up till smoke clears or power drop's off ??

Thx

Diesel Dragon

PS I always wanted to be first at something, I guess first post in new section will have to do

I'll do the second here. You can keep going up till it just cleans up. It will take more, but heat is now an issue (experience). Do this at your own risk. The Extreme and similarly fueled programs seem to clean up pretty good around .090 to .100. Have fun.

remember that sometimes the pill may not be your restricing factor. Some nossels or foggers or even sylinoids my be the restriction in your system.

He is running the whole SD system Philip. The Duramax lends it self very well to N2O. There have been failures from exploded pistons and such and from over temped components. The failed pistons I think was a casting flaw. Some have it, some don't. It is smart to leave a slight hase when cleaning up with the N2O. It will take more, but don't take the bait.

Casting flaws.......So if one has 45k on thier truck and been running an Xtreme for 10k or so and pumped 30 or so pounds of spray through theier motor I'm hoping these flaws are non present?

SD stuff is schweeet. You could shoot a marble through those noids:ro)

What are the SD kits using for a nossel or are you using a fogger? Is he running a 2 stage?

Single stage with a fan spray nozzle. You would know by now if there was a flaw in something. I think it was a freak thing. Just words to the warry.

Just tryin to learn the ropes from THE MAN..Thinking about taking my 22 stage off and going back to a single as it seems like the more I add the less power I make.:)

Let try to keep it with good info (and accurate) these guys can use, eh? I modify and have special lines made. I am a Toolmaker (not screw drivers and such). I am in the proccess of making some super tough connecting rods and Pistons in MY GHETTO GARAGE set up as well as some SS larger valves for the Dmax dragser I've been building (yes, I am building them, not having them built). These will be available to a few individuals at a latter date. Pretty SIMPLE realy.

Titanium connecting rods SD? I have enough to make 8 rods. I was a toolmaker myself before switching careers... Stocked up on some exotic materials while working there. Just need some machines to enjoy the trade as a hobby now. Was also a Cad drawer and programmer for CNC equipment. Later

Not Titanium. These are made of the same stuff most Top Fuelers use however. 20 years now in the trade and lovin it.

Careful Jim, as a moderator you could get blasted for having an opinion.

Recommending SD over say TS could get you a name as a cheerleader.

Remember your supposed to be moderate.
:D

On Edit: No soup for you either. If all the mods have soup, it won't look right. Never mind that you want the best for your truck.
