If I change my wheels from 16 to 18's, what kind of problems can I expect, if
I go from 245 75 R16 to 285 60 R18 and will it affect my abs? also I can't find a
E rated tire in the 18's, only a 3080 lb rating, the only thing i tow is a 3500 lb
boat. 2500 crew cab Max.

I have 265/75-16s, which are about the same OD as the 285/60-18. I'm also looking to move up to that size for street/strip. I don't have any ABS issues that I know of.

You're right, there is no E rated tire in that size....I've done tons of looking.

Opinions vary, there are a lot of people running D load range skins, which is about what the 3080 lb rating is, with little reports of trouble. Personally, I wouldn't sweat the 3500 lb boat (unless all the weight is on the tongue of course http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/hihi.gif)

I'm open to other opinions.
