Okay, I keep reading the new posts about trucks running in the mid to low 12s with no lift pump or N20. I thought we needed a lift pump to do that.
I can't get my tunes high enough without bursting to get in the 12:90s.
I have ordered a lift pump.
Do I need a new tuner ?

I saw one that had a built in fuel filter that was all mounted as one unit infront of the left rear wheel.....
nice setup.... not sure who made it....

The F.A.S.S. system it in my mind the best I have seen... only it cost around 600 bucks, but it has the filter and the some type of air remover on it.

I would use the search feature and read up on that FASS System.........

If you like driving around with 1/2 to a Full tank that is..........

If not then don't buy it................you'll have problems..........;)

.I got it, I do have it on a switch where i turn it off when im on the street or my tank level is low(becuase of what i have heard). I have forgotten to turn it off before. all the way under 1/4 tank. no problems. i think it depends on the truck.. or where the return is at. the closer to the bottom of the filler neck the better.

have had none of these issues with the fass either , have a friend who runs the fass who hooked up a fuel pressure guage in his cab to watch his fuel pressure while tank was low, he has had no issues so far that i know of, seems like more theories then hard facts , i personally still burst with edge in level 4 no matter the fuel tank level, and would like to at some time install a carter pump with a trippen pickup to see if the fass is in fact holding me back.

My truck bursts pretty bad when I run the 1/4. I'm installing my lift pump this week to see if it will cure the problem. My best 1/4 time was 13.2 on No.2 alone. Can't wait to see how my truck will run with a set of twins installed.

Pople have used Superdiesels stuff, the FM100's, kennedy is making one, steve cole(tts) has a few options. Some use holley pumps.......a search on lift pumps will generate enough reading to keep you busy for awhile. There are a ton of different options. I like the FM100 solution personaly for me, TTS's pumps wernt done when I needed pumps otherwise I probably would go that wroute(I think they are done now???).

I'm running kind of a bastard mix ... a single FM100 full time and a Carter 4600 via switch in cab. Both pumps are in parallel ...carter gets unfiltered fuel but I figure it should last awhile as little as it gets used ...and if the FM100 fails the Carter will get me home.

I heard the TTS big "HP" lift pump setup wouldn't be ready until late summer.
