I took my truck to the GM dealer in Ocala, FL on Monday with injector problems. My truck idled rough and had white smoke at idle when warmed up. They had the truck for testing for about 1 1/2 hours. The service advisor told me they needed to replace all 8 injectors and needed to keep it over night. He gave me a rental car to use until the truck was repaired. Got a call at about 12 o'clock today and the truck was ready to pick up. All 8 injectors were replaced.:) All I had to pay for was the new fuel filter. From all the bad stories that I have heard I was expecting it to be a fight to get the injectors replaced. I guess it is all about the dealer you take it to. I recommend any one in the North FL area that needs their Duramax truck worked on they should go there. My truck runs better and quieter than I can ever remember.:D

jbcox43 thats great. I have such a dealer here in Coeur d'Alene Idaho too. There are good ones.

Part of it's the dealer, part of it if you have seen the bulletin if I remeber correctly states that it (in my words) depends on how the injectors go out and what is wrong with them, for the extended warranty on them to cover them.

It is nice to know the dealer knows how to treat a customer!
