take it in to the dealer body shop manager and they will know what to do. that's what i did and they knew of the tsb and wrote it up. then i had it replaced at my convenience.

I was told by my dealer service tech that the bubble is from a barcode label that is attached to the back that was not removed from isntallation and is causing the bubble.
My truck had the same problem and when I went to the body shop (because they had to replace them due to an accident, and the new ones were bubbling out) he pulled them off and sure enough, the previous tech neglected to remove the barcode label.
No cost to me, was covered under warranty.

Got mine done no problems, yes I was told the bar code thing as well.
I really didn't care what it was as long as they replaced them.

I actually removed my side moldings. The toughest thing about it was getting all the sticky stuff off!! Personally I like it better now!

Door trim on my 05 GMC hasn't done this, but my wife's 05 Tahoe has. Trims are a bit different... it looks horrible on her tahoe.

Just take them off, looks better without them...
Dealer's body shop replaced mine under warranty. They screwed up on ordering the correct color but they knew it was thei r obligation.

The GM rep said to not replace them due to "To Many Problems With Them". Something does not sound right with this.

I actually replaced mine with the chrome GMC ones! Looks a lot better and no more black plastic to deal with when washing and waxing.
