Had my truck in for some service work a few weeks ago and I think they may have loosed my exterior sensor and not re-attached it as its reading crazy high temps like its being affected by the hot air around the motor. Where is the sensor located, I can't seem to find it :o:

Mine is on the drivers side, down by the hood hinge bracket. I moved mine so it gets freash air when driving. You can see mine just above the bumper, on the inside of the lower hinge bracket.

Ok so maybe I'm blind? I can't seem to locate this sensor at all. Anyone happen to have a pic or can snap a pic for me? I've looked all over and can't find it anywhere, what color is the sensor? What's it look like? Color of the harness, wires or plug? Any input that can help me locate this damn sensor :mad: Getting annoyed with the false readings, like when it tells me its a 125 outside when its really about 85ish.
