I have just got my 01 but it has 93k.My dads 02,bought new,has 88k.Just courious how far people have taken them.

215k befor any injector probs. then blew up at 282k tranny lasted till 419k. Truck pulls 70% of the time.

102,500 on my 2001.

22,150 on my 04'

106,000k on my 02...no warratnty except tailgate straps.

33,000 miles with no problems:ro)

64,000 on my 02 with no major problems.

121,000 on my wife's 01, no engine related issues.

32000 miles and so far nothing major, NSBU and a hub seal...............SWH...

Just passed 88K with my 2001. No engine or tranny problems to date.

Mere 35k or so here.

'04 LB7 with less than 25,000 miles. No mechanical issues. Just got to get the tailgate straps and my F'n speedo fix (which sometimes show 0 mph at stop but mostly stuck at 40 to 70 mph at stop).

Thats about it.

hd90rider,you have 419,000 miles on your 02?? Mine has had the injectors,clutch,flywheel,ect,ect replaced at about 88k.About 5k before I got it.Sure love it great truck.

02 LB7 with 55000. No major problems yet.

65000 no problems so far.

'03, 28xxx miles, tailgate straps and steering shaft lube, Nictane at 18xxx miles. Runs great.

2001 2500HD D-max/6speed:
104,482 miles, 2705.7 hours = 38.62 avg mph

30k - new clutch pedal -squeak
30k - left rear axle seal
82k - 8 new injectors
103k - new tensioner, idler and serpentine belt
104k - new right upper ball joint (torn boot)
104.4k - new paper air filter

I have one more single pleat fuel filter. Then I will start running the new dual pleats at 10k intervals.

03' 55,000 miles, no problems. LOVE IT just races my friends twin turbo Nissan 300 ZX and walked away from him up to 90 mph ):h (he would have Got me around 110mph) He was not happy that a smokey diesel smoked him :D

02 lb7 112k - 60k nuetral safety switch on tranny, 104k injectors, 107k back in for mechanic screw up, 110k front wheel bearing

Pushing 150K on our '01 only major problem was a bad u-joint broke the trans. Still orig injectors, and the steering shaft doesn't make any noise. Think I need a water pump though. Still love the truck, unbelievable power!!!

655 miles on mine. No problems yet, :rolleyes: (as DDD knocks on wood).

2003 44K miles: Probably built on a Thursday. HVAC controller fixed under warranty, Power steering pump replaced not under warranty. All the windows freeze up under 20 degrees, the right rear window has stuck for no apparent reason twice now. The stereo did not make sound for no apparent reason once. The driver side windshield wiper has no pressure on the glass and floats over rain above 55mph, the front bumper is rusting on the inside at the corners and the chrome trim on the quarter panels are bubling and creasing.

Now I otherwise love this truck, but it was not made with the same attention to detail my trusty 89 Fullsize Jimmy, 95 K1500 Chevy Silverado and 98 K2500 Chevy trucks were. Not as bad as your typical Monday or Friday build but close enough and not a whole lot to brag about when it comes to the build quality. I just hope she stays together long enough for me to put 100K on her.

40000 miles no problems what so ever.juice/attitude on the way.

bought mine used with 74000 have put 11,000 on it in 4 months. no problems since ive had it, not sure about the other guy.

31,150 miles. no issues. Has never been back to the dealer.

49,500 miles.

'02 has 118k+, engine perfect. I'm on my 3rd dual mass flywheel and my 3rd hydro-boost. Besides that everything else is great!!!

Man I thought for a while that I must be the only one to have any problems. Not that I'm happy you had yours but sheesh!!! My rig sounds like a real clunker compared the rest in here.

01' LB7 with 82,000 miles / 2560 hours. Tailgate Straps replaced, couple of light bulbs, cd player shows err occassionally. Other than that, it has been great. I am pleased with the value it is holding and the mileage, even while towing my 1977 Airstream 31' Excella 500! Gets about 15 mpg. Unloaded running about 1850 rpm, I get about 21.50 per gallon.

58.5K miles - DLR bulbs (2x), LR brake light, Both rear axle seals early in her life, tires at 45K, and the tailgate cables. Life would be great if diesel would come down below gasoline prices again!

Amen to the lower fuel prices. I needed a Cycle/Boat trader magazine and decided to top off yesterday $25 for 10.3 gallons. :mad:

55, 500 - 03 3500 dually - Over 32,000 miles since 2/10/2005. At that rate I will be close to 150,000 by year end. In shop for injectors as of today.

02 w/65k - Body control module (failed in the first week), fuel gauge, injectors, steering gear, tape player, front drivers side hub failed (last week), Passlock problems out the ass, straps, HVAC issue and I think thats it..

Surprisingly I still love this truck.

78,361 miles, 2789 hrs - injectors, couple of pulleys,nsbu switch, valvebody from tranny, drivers side hub, pitman & idler arms, misc. bulbs, 3rd set of tires

'04 LB7. 34k miles. New starter at around 25k miles. Just stuck on one day. Unhooked the batterys and called GM to pick it up. Other than that its the best truck I've ever owned.
