You guys realize this is an in dash unit right?Since when did that stop the "Guru of the Electronica"?

Looks like a sweet unit, but wayyyyyy to rich for my blood (or wallet).

It list for 1800, but the dealer cost give enough room to sell it for 15 and make money. I'd like to see these whiners come up with something better for the price. It's got a lot of bang for the buck for the price. Pioneer did their homework here, this product is a result of many surveys they conducted. three years ago a Nav that didn't do 1/4 of what the new ones do cost twice as much and weren't touch screen. This unit is 2 DIN, CD MP3 XM/Sirius ready and iPod interface-able. some features that customers in surveys wanted and got include all in one unit and the ability to run nav and music discs at once. Incidentally the least used feature of in dash units...DVD video...really who needs to watch a movie while they drive?
