Can the lux amp be installed in a bose equipped truck with the stock Bose head unit? I know there is a write up but it is kind of an emergency? Leaving on a trip tomorrow night.

p.s. dont let the class 2 signal ground out or the truck will think it is being stolen!

Not without reprogamming the head unit to lux first - if you plug in a regular Bose head unit to a lux amp it will blow the amp.

What's involved in reprogramming the non-lux head unit? A trip to the dealer, or is it more involved than that?

Trip to the dealer unless it's a navigation head unit -- then it would have to be sent off to Dan or a Dephi repair center.
