Wondering if anyone has experienced the following or if anyone could shed some light on possible causes. On a recent 5K trip pulling my 5er, stopped at a rest area. After getting underway again, went to set the cruise and it wouldn't set, shut it off and on, still wouldn't set. At the next stop, shut off the engine, checked the fuse and started off again, the cruise worked as advertised the remainder of the trip. Then yesterday ~ a month later, similar experience with the radio, it was working fine, stopped and shut off the engine, then after startup, the radio wouldn't work, the lights were lit up on the radio, but no sound. Stopped, checked the fuse, all ok, started the truck up and the radio worked fine. I'm wondering if this is the start of some queer electron issue, sure hate to be out in the middle of the north forty and the electrical system shuts down. Any comments/suggestions????????

I had simaler problems with the keyless entry, door locks and electric windows. It turned out to be something to do with the BCM (Body Control Module) The Dealer had to reflash something, that was a year ago, and no problems since. I am not sure if your problem is that or not.
