Took the truck back to dealer twice to have the system checked because of notice on DIC to check trailer brake system. Well after the dealer reprogrammed the system twice I hauled yesterday and its doing the same thing again. Dings and DIC message of check trailer wiring, irritating as hell anybody experiencing this?

Mine works perfectly with my Featherlite car trailer. The boat is a non-issue, as it is surge brakes.
The ONLY time it has given me an error message was when the lights were replaced on the trailer. The shop soldered some connections and accidentally had a drip of solder cross between the brown (tail lights) and yellow (left turn). It would back-feed the brake system when the lights were on. Kept giving me the message. Fixed the trailer, and all was well.
I have seen several threads here of people having issues, but I have not had any legitimate ones. My dad has the sister-truck to mine. Same exact rig, but with 6.0 gas. He has had no problems, either.

Not IMHO... I think it is the best trailer brake system I have ever used. OP - check the wiring on your trailer; I'd be willing to bet that's where the problem is.
