It is no secret that PPE tunes can be hijacked by EFI Live, and yes you could put them on a DSP2/5. Now that you have EFI Live, I would do whatever is needed to make that truck sing a better tune. PPE tunes are good tunes, dont get me wrong, but they are a box tune. Meaning they where writen for all trucks, and they dont know what you have on your truck for modds.
Some on here will say taking the PPE tunes is not right, others will say it is ok. As for me, I have no opinion either way. Its your truck and elactronics, do what you wish.
BTW, moving to EFI Live.

If I were you, and I still had the PPE tuner, and EFI Live, I would just load the truck with the PPE tunes, then load them off the truck onto EFI. This is NOT illegal so long as you keep the PPE tuner. Then you can use some guidance from guys on here to tweak the PPE tunes into what you're looking for. Personally, I have seen the PPE tunes, and am not impressed with them. They have very rough maps, weird dips and some values that don't make any sense at all, but if nothing else you can see what is changed to make more power.

Simple. Load the stock tune in from EFI Live, then load the PPE tune you want, then "read" your truck with EFI live and save the tune as the level you loaded so you will know the difference.
Then make sure you return the truck back to stock with the PPE before using EFILive again.
