Okay, so my transmission is acting funny after the LLY engine swap. The trans will run fine when the driving on the highway or on short drives, but as soon as it I hit stop and go traffic the trans will lock and not shift. Running temps are 140-160 on the freeway, but once I get off the freeway or am in stop and go traffic on the freeway, the temp shoots up to 180-200. It never gets above 200. But it will not shift at all until I pull off and let it sit for about 15 minutes to cool. The transmission fluid level is good, right in the middle of the hot check zone. I have been checking fluids nonstop since the swap that I did about a month ago. I am quite stumped. I am not running any extra power to the motor, am on stock settings. Any ideas? I am not getting any codes.
