I am looking hard at lift kits. Nothing huge maybe a 4-6" or something like that. I currently have the tbars cranked to level the truck. i am running 315 bfg's on h2 wheels. My question is. I pull a 24ft enclosed trailer with a race car in it. Is it recomended to pull with a lift kit? How smart is it?

there are lots of guys on this site that are lifted and pull big weight all the time. i think most of them keep the lift under 6'' and no bigger than 35s. however, most run a 4'' lift and 33s. you should be just fine as long as you keep the lift mild.

I pulled my boat all the time. The other day I pulled a farm tractor with the front bucket and tiller, on a tandem axle flat bed trailer. Didn't even know it was back there.

I have a 6" pro comp 35's and pull a 26" carmate loaded with either car tractor quads or sleds. No promblems. I also had an 08 with a 6.0 same lift and it pulled the trailer fine actually good but mileage was terrible.
Thats what I was thinking. But thought it might be better if I ask instead of just do it. A buddy of mine has a f250 with 37's and pulls a race car just fine. I just dont want to get into trouble with the trailer behind the truck.
