Hi all, I am looking at getting a Diesel 3/4 ton and have seen some with between 90k and 111k miles so I need to know what I would be looking for... wear wise what are the rough spots for say 03-05 Dmaxes in this range?

Just FYI I am looking for
SB/CC
SRW
4x4
diesel
6inch and lower lift (stock is ok too)
LT would be nice... LS ok.

Price range is 20k and lower.

I am not an expert however I will give you my experience.

I have a 02 and I purchased it at 116,000 two years ago. It has been the best truck I have ever owned however the truck had a few issues.

At 150,000 my injectors went out however thanks to the GM 200,000 mile 7 year warranty they were covered for no cost.

At 160,000 my transmission signed off however that was my fault. I was putting over 500 horses to the ground for far too long. The allison should last you for as long as you drive the truck as long as you don't put added power to it.

Other than that she has ran great. I have asked allot from my truck and she has kept on ticking.

My '03 has been an awesome truck. I have only 70,000 miles and it hasn't had any problems so far. I average around 16-18 mpg.
