Hey everyone, im starting to add some mods to the truck and thought this would be a good start. I have a 05 LLY and have ordered the LBZ mouthpiece my question is I want to install the mouthpiece and aftermarket air intake at the same time but am unsure what to order an LBZ or LLY air intake? I know you have to cut some piping to make the LBZ mp work, would I have to do this if i ordered the LBZ intake?

Thanks a bunch
and sorry if this has been asked already....

Check out the seen this yet 2 thread. I believe it has been stated that the factory air box and filter flows more than enough air for all but the hottest tunes. I would also look into a TXC CAI which is a piece of rubber that seals the airbox to the fender keeping out the hot underhood air.

LBZ mouthpiece, stock box and TxC cold air intake gets a second vote.

If you want to goto aftermarket intake get one for the lly, this way you don't have to mess with the MAF sensor.

Hell no if I dont have to pay 300 bucks for an intake ill save my money for something else. How much of a difference is there in doing a cat delete compared to a entire turbo back system?
Thanks for the help!

Straight pipe the stock exhaust...it'll sound great. I was going to do that but I found an awesome deal on a used 4".
