Okay well im am going to get to drop the pan and check for spider cracks on my 6.2 and if worst senario comes to life and i have them im thinking of doing some major over hauling such as

I have 2 engines picked out the first being a Detroit 4-53T
the second being a cummins 6BT

now having that being said....er well typed does any one know how hard of a swap this would be im pretty sure both engines would fit no problem. but im curious about finding a trannsmission that will fit.

if any one has any idea or anythign let me know so im streed inthe right direction

And as far as transmissions, they have adapters to put just about any transmission behind a Cummins.
