So when is the new LML motor going to be in the trucks?? Am I right to say that any truck built after 1/1/2010 will have this LML motor and be called a 10.5?? Interested to read more up on these engines. The mention of redesigned pistons has me interested.

And to see if they can actually do anything with it to. All the emissions stuff on the new trucks is getting in our way more and more.

New regulations start Jan 1 2010 but 2010 production will start before then so you are going to see the same mid year change that has always happened.

No specifics from GM yet.
Release is expected sometime this summer (prob June).
Most expect prices to be ~ 3-4K more than a comparable 2010 model, even if sticker price is unchanged, its unlikely you'll be able to get a OTD deal that would be close to what a 2010 would go for.
Considering the upgrades to the new truck tho, the price will be reasonable.

Maybe they will release pricing and specs on Wednesday when they officially unveil the GMC Sierra HD.

Just got out of a meeting with our Mac dealer. They have been running a few trucks with urea on them just to help forsee any issues with it. He said that the Urea actually cleans the exhaust up so much that they are able to run hotter tunes boosting fuel economy and power while still passing emissions. What this means is for those people who want to leave it stock, at least this one emissions control device may make for a better running truck as opposed to the two years prior to it.

2010 LMM
2010.5 LML
The 2011s will be out later this year all with the LML or LGH in pickups. They will all be labeled as 2011s, not 2010.5s. Only the LGH vans will make the 2010.5 cut.
