Hey guys.
I just bought my first diesel and am loving it so far.
Its a 2002 CC LB 2500hd. It has 40k miles on it. I am looking for some insight on what parts to go over on the truck...
I will be changing the fuel filter today. Engine oil and all the fluids this weekend hopefully or atleast within the next week. Is there anything I should look out for? What kind of gas mileage should I be expecting to get? Under light acceleration and when turning i notice the backend seems to "shutter". I am assuming that it is because of the stiff springs in there rear and the fact that I am not carrying a load. I also hear "chattering" in the rear under heavy acceleration...sounds to be coming from something under the chassis and not internally from the rear diff. Can anyone give me a checklist to kinda go over? Thanks guys. I look forward to being a part of this community.
