hay guys i bought the truck awhile ago and it came without this plugged in... i have tried 2 find the plug with no luck.. hopefully you guys can tell me what this does

Does the truck run ok? is there a ses light on? I always heard if that is going bad it will cause problems let along being unpluged. Im more familiar with the lb7s but that is your intake right?

But I think it is part of this. Looks like your MAP sensor is the right in the picture. The 3 wire connector. I say the owner moves it to the normal one in warm weather. In freezing snow I say the owner may have moved it to the other location.

yeah my truck has the same thing. they moved mine to the other location cause it was freezin up also. nothin wrong nor is it a problem.

alright cool guys thanks alot ive had alot of people tell me i should have a sensor there... and i also drove 2 a buddys and took at look around in there and realized that it was just moved not removed.. thanks again for the help on it
but like you said that u move it.. does it really matter? can u leave it in the "cold weather" spot all year? or would u not suggest it?

I see no problem leaving where it is. My guess they use a new MAF for the new location because they have no dummy block plate to go in its place. Just a guess as to what they do for this fix. Never done it myself.

That is the Map sensor mine has frozen a few times in winter. How does that help by moving it?

Just in a warmer location I guess and condensation may not be as big of an issue. Have not read through the link in post #6 i posted but it might explain it.
