its because they use forged pistons and they make noise when cold starting then when they warm up they expand and no more noise. I would rather hear that noise and know they used good components then not hear the noise and they use some cheap and weak cast pistons.

Anytime I see a car speuing out blue smoke, 9 times out of 10, it's a Ford/Mercury, many times a taurus or Mercury's version of it.

I had a 2002 6.0 gasser and had zero problems with it. But I still believe it's a big issue...
