I think I managed to mess something up when I was playing around with my plow lights. With the Kennedy harness hooked up, all four lights are on whether high or low is selected. If I switch the diode it operates normally (low beams on with low selected and just high beams on when high is selected). If I hook up the lights with the factory wires it also works normally. I figure I blow out a relay but I am pretty pathetic when it comes to wiring so who knows. Any way to test it? Speaking of, anyone know any decent books where I could learn a little something about automotive wiring?

Oh yeah, all this is with the plow wiring completely disconnected.

PM Kennedy; he built it and he should be able to diagnoss the trouble.

It's pretty hard to mess this kit up. As always, check for bent pins inm the connectors and for ground quality. Sounds as if you may have shorted the diode so that it flows both ways. I have your email, but replied here. Please drop me an email with your name etc. and we'll try a new diode plug first.
