I'm feeling some kind of drag when I start moving forward & turning left or right. What could be the cause?

Could be your brakes dragging. Emergency brake applied a couple clicks on the pedal, sticking brake caliper, rear drum brakes adjusted too tight, etc.

After you drive around for a while, 5-10 miles, check each wheel for excessive heat. Be careful not to actually touch the rotors, you will burn yourself. It seems obvious, but you would be suprised how many people do it. If one or two wheels are a lot hotter than the others, you will know where to start looking.

It may also be an alignment problem. Are your front tires worn evenly across the tread?

I just rotated my tires a few weeks ago but they are good. I haven't messed with the brakes but it is time for a rear brake job. I will have to check the emergency brake. Could it be a u-joint going out or the rearend about to go?

Check the rear brakes first. Have you change the rear differential fluid?

Infrared temp gun would be the best tool to check for brake drag.

Sounds like the diff. Is it limited slip, does it have the correct additive gear oil?

This may sound stupid, check to see if the front drive shaft spins freely. My 94 the front diff wont disengage and the transfer is worn also(sometimes it wont engage, sometimes it wont disengage after use).

It is time for a fluid change. I was going to check the front drive shaft to see if the front diff is disengaged & I will have to get a temp reading on the rear brakes next time I go for a drive. Thanks guys for all your input & keep it coming.:D
