Hi guys I had this post in the maintance/fluid forum with no luck so I was hoping to get a better response here, So how do you reset the oil change indicator on a gmc slt's computor. thanks

turn key on, press accelerator pedal to the floor 5 times within 10 seconds, then key off.

i was told 3 times and that works but needs redoing sometimes so 5 gives you a little extra

The manual tells to turn the key on with out starting and press pedel 3 times within 10 seconds or so.

If you have the steering wheel controls, just scroll to the oil life readout and then push and hold the "back arrow" button til the readout changes.

Some like mine require 5 presses of the go pedal.
