Does any body know why people say to do the ice pick trick? i had # 2 injector conector go out and know i am freaked out about # 7 going out. lly motor 05. any help

This has been covered hundreds of times. Do a search on it, days of good reading. You do it to re seat or re crimp the connector so you aren't stuck on the side of the road.

Would'nt you want to clean it up real good and plug and unplug a few times to make a better contact. Ice picking sounds like just pushing the contacts tighter together. Cleaning should give the same results???:D

Yeah, pushing the contacts tighter is what you want. They're on there rattling around and get spread apart not making good contact. Cleaning would be a plus though.

cleaning doesnt do it..... You have to FORCE the connections tighter.... Trust me. Been there.

No Pic, but Facing the engine, it's on the left hand side, last Injector. Stand at the passenger side fender and you can see it.
