i love it when the women get excited over trucks. the best is when you ask "so who wants to go wheelin?" and they get a look of shock like your really gunna go four wheelin in that beauty? but thats short lived cause next thing you know they are running for shot gun.

but then the GF gets involved and all teh girls are shoved to the back seat lol :D

Yeah I was thinking the only lift law Texas has was head light height. I know here in Alabama we have a 54" tire height law.

Ahhh! Push-pull setup. Been done before on a truck that came out of Kat Kustoms like 5 years ago. Yours is nearly identical. This k-1500 build was first time I had seen it.

Yea thats where the idea came from shhhhh.

Hey, I'm not bashing it. Embracing good ideas and thinking outside the box is how our rigs come to be. I'd just run full hydro myself, but I like the idea of a mechanical connection and see it's merit, especially on a street rig. Until yours, I'd never seen proof of it working though. We all know it works now.:D

That's a very nice setup, I'm glad you opted to stay away from full hydro on a "street" rig. That setup also allows the use of a triangulated front link system without bump steer (providing one does there homework of coarse).

A Powerjoke came through town the other day on a semi trailer that had about the same amount of lift as yours, also setting on 54's, but it had a very different steering setup all in front of the axle that staggered the drag-link back and forth 3 times with the final link paralleling the pan hard bar. It looked completely streetable. I took some pics, if you would like to see them I'll post them up. Again, Very nice work.
