Can anyone tell me more about whether there is a TSB on the 2003 Duramax's hydroboost and what the brakes are doing.
My dad has 2003 GMC 2500HD Duramax that when he first purchased it the brakes would send you through the windsheild if you weren't used to driving them. He never noticed the problem (he drives it everyday) but when I drove it the other day I noticed that they felt spongy - you didn't get the same reaction time as you did before and you really didn't get a reaction until you were pressed the pedal 1/2-3/4 of the way down. They were working more like a gas engines brakes that needed adjusted. As it stands my brakes on my 95 work better then his. We checked the brake pads and everything was fine no adjustments needed, the fluid (both the brake and power steering were fine) There is no noticeable link comeing from the hydroboost. Is anyone aware of what could be the problem? :(
