Anyone try to put gauges out of a semi in there pickup, just wanting to know if they would be an option, if they would work.

Diesel52 06-20-2009, 04:30 PM You probably want pyro, boost, trans temp, and maybe rear diff oil temp? Oh yes that is doable. The Do_g_ and Ford have A-pillar replacement mounted covers for gauges. Then you just need more spots you can make a bracket up for the floor??? This would be a fun job. If doing a pyro I would do both sides and then have better info of EGT.PM me if you want more info. There is a guy that wrecks trucks 2 miles away from were I live.BTW Clive is in centeral Alberta N/E of Reddeer. max 02 06-24-2009, 11:48 PM Just talked to the truck wrecker guy today, he said the pyro gauges are 4 inch. To big for me I guess I`ll get the same thing everyone else gets. I just thought I could get a good quality guage set for cheap. | ||
