So I hooked up my 02 dmax/allie w/145,000mi to my 6000lb 5th this past weekend and noticed that when accelerating from stop there is a 1-2 second rattlesnake type rattle , then it's normal. Any thoughts? I don't think injectors have been done...possible this is the cause? Never heard this noise when running without the trailer so it's only under the extra load. Only had the truck a month. If the injectors need doing nows the time! Sorry for the cross post...no response in ask the techs.

Any help from you guys is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

Mine will do this as well accelerating from a stop, even empty depending on how much ooomph I give it. Kinda sounds like a gasser pinging when you first get on it, then goes away. It seems the Juice makes this a bit more audiable, at least in my case. Is it normal, don't know?? But all my balance rates are low, and my two newies are doing great as well.
