Since they say its electrical, do they know how to fix it? Did they fix it? Lol did fixing it involve changing the injectors again? What happened to the 200k mile warranty.

That's not a bad price if they replaced all 8 injectors.

I have my reciept here where the dealer swapped out my injectors, and they price is $2450.00

I wonder if I can hold them to this price???

Also Pensacola Diesel says they can do them for 9 hours labor at 85 dollars and hour, and 1200 dollars for a set. That comes to $1965 bucks for a set.

I know this does not help you, but it is another view of the matter.

Also it is NOT A WARRANTY of 200,000 miles on these injectors, it is a Special Policy and they have guidlines they have to fail under in order to get a free set.

damn the ULSD and this sh!!!y injector design

i think my truck needs injectors, it scares me, it really does

i could do them myself but it still costs upwards of a grand to buy just the injectors, i wonder what the profit margin is on the price of those

electrical it is. that is why the lb7 injectors run on 96 volts and they redesigned the llm to run 48 volts and started the warranty on the 1st gen. duramax. still had problems so they did the lbz running on 24 volts. do a search for injector voltage. you may be supprised. just what is the electrical problem?

I can see one injector failing because of an electrical problem, but not all 8 all at once. I would take it elsewhere if you can.

when a diagnosis is unspecific and general like that, i would tend to think that they said something general and vague because most likely the dealer did not want to have to mess with the truck and it be paid warranty, when its cash pay they make some major coin. i would have requested a full specific explanation before just handing over the green

It is NOT A warranty, and only a special policy and the injectors have to fail a certain way.

No 200K Warranty on Injectors exists.

when they make statements about it being electrical, if you get a chance, push to get full explanation. most likely bull, but would like to hear good joke every so often.
