Lately I've noticed my brake pedal getting closer to the floor Today I pulled up to a long light and before the light went green the brake pedal was on the floor. Limped on home, called my serviceman and made arrangements to take the truck in ,in the morniong. Anyone else had a similar experience.

I posted a similar issue last night on this board, 'Power Brake Problem'. Talked to the service manager this morning and he told me the power assist is working properly.

Missed your post, sounds like we have same problem. Trucks in the shop right now, will let you know what they say/do after I pick it up. See you are from Mich. The wife and I are from the Pontiac/Rochester area, were retired here in San Antonio Tx now.

I think that GM had a issue regarding the hydroboost systems lately. I think I read about a "Recall" about brake failures.

Picked up my truck this afternoon, service people say brake system is within spec. Me, I don't think so, but right now I don't know what to do. Appears GM may be tightening up on freebies. My serviceman also told me he couldn't reprogram my speedo for the 265 tires. He has a Tech 24 to. They did wash my truck and give me a free lub job.
