Ok boys and lady's,

The knock in my truck is gone.
It just frickin stoped :wtf1:
It was real bad.

Its not from a different tank of fuel.
Cam shaft sensor and injectors replaced months ago.
With double-dose Standyne Performance formula its less.
Last 3 full fillups no additive.
One warm start, knock was gone. Starts knocking at 1600 rpm stops 2200.
Feels like something freed up, sounds deeper and also runs better at all RPM.
Makes alot more power, but I know it will rear its ugly head again.
It was checked w/tech2 when it was bad, found nothing,
or didn't we look in the right place?

This truck has PMS!
And NO it's not from cigar ashes ):h

Thank You

Sorry - most of us hang out in the "No Smoking" section :muahaha:

Don't worry, you haven't been black-listed. The only thing black around here is your lungs :)

Someone will chime-in now that it's been bumped :)

Other than your truck is possesed? Seems these things can act like typical females....they just up and wig out on you and then poof, they go back to fine??? Your other issues gone from a bit ago? No idea.

NO, I have always been honest with the 2 dealers I work with.
GM problem = GM pay
MY add-on breaks something = I fix
If we are not sure, its the dealers call, no arguements.

was this a "knock" or a "tick" ? which side of engine did it come from? what other changes did you make before it quit?

I have a small "tick" and have heard (litterally) others that did the same. Just wondering if your problem is the same or different.

Yesterday I checked my truck and a buddy's new engine and both were tickin in the same general area. Used a long screw driver against the valve cover and ear and heard taickin on every cylinder but there was one a lot louder in the same place on both engines. Sounded a lot different when the screw driver was used to locate the tick. don't know how to describe it. My buddy is takin his to the stealer this week to get them to listen to it ... interesting to see what they say.

Its a Knock, and its back, just not as bad. It was a 10 now its a 4.
It only shows up when on the go stick, 1600-2200 rpm.
New hot PPE Xcellerator only.
This truck is a woman, fickle, w/PMS.
THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE ALL WOMEN, JUST SOME. :exactly:

Stock OK, I think, cant remember what stock program is. ):h
It changes on same tank of fuel.
Must think deep and simple, and electric.
Time to take apart connections. something must not be getting the proper voltage.
There is no pattern to this! Censored

Thank You
