the steering box has an adjustment bolt/screw; i wanna know if that is true and does this adjustment tighten up your steering?
also, my 07 lbz has an idler and pitman arm, but how do you know whether there is a 4 bolt or 3 bolt pattern for the idler(i think idlerarm or is it pitman arm) because i am ordering the parts and was asked this question. 3 bolts or 4 ??
another great question is if your passenger side cognito bracked(is this the idler arm) does not fit correctly cause of frame jamming so ive heard and happened to me, can you just run the drivers side cognito bracket by itself without the other side on? my passenger was contacting the frame so i ended up taking the piece right off after the piece basiclly rubbed off. any infos great info....

The steering box has two adj. The screw on top only adjust preload on the gear. The actual backlash is the larger spanner type in front. Booth should be adjusted off the vehicle.

If you tighten so to say the top screw then all your doing is meshing the upper and lower gears tighter. This mayshow some improvement on a worn system but its a temp means.
