: Need help keep blowing fuse's v2500hd 06-17-2009, 05:13 PM I have developed a short somewhere I guess. I have replaced the fuse for the aux. power ports several times. It will work for about 5 to 10 seconds and then gone. I replaced it with a 25 amp fuse and bam, blown again. Do the ports go bad? If it were my cell phone or radar detector cords wouldn't the fuse blow in those...any help would be great... Not know of one going bad but would have to start looking for a wire harness wear through maybe. If it is the one I am thinking of it may also feed power to the OBDII port.
