Is there a TSB out for the intermediate steering shaft that includes model year 2004? My wife is taking our truck in to have the clunking diagnosed. "Service" guy said he hadn't heard anything anout intermediate steering shaft problems. No recall but he failed to mention the TSB. I have the TSB that includes 1999-2003 years so that ought to get them going.

Without this website I'd be going to the dealer blind.

My dealer lubed my 2004 truck. Apparently the "revised" part didn't work. I'm now on the list for any future part that comes along.

Wife took the truck in with a copy of the TSB. They had a shaft in stock & installed it that day. I was amazed.

yeah, there isn't one for the 04s, but the dealership replaced mine. It didn't fix the problem though. It did for a little while, but after about 2-3 months, it started popping again. Hope you have better luck.
