Has anyone ever looked into the long term effects of products like the juice on your engine the Duramax is supposed to be a 300k mile motor does using these aftermarket chips & programmers reduce the life of your engine? I know that allot of these products are new so its probably hard to tell just wandering.

No proof, but it would be logical to assume that any increase in power, if it is used would come with a corresponding decrease in engine life. It has been proved many times that a stock engine will not last as long if it is dogged as opposed to one that leads an easy life. Boat engines are a good example I believe, Big block Chevy gas motors don't last nearly as long in a sport fisherman as they did in Mom's vista cruiserhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif,
