Since I installed a 65HP tune on my 02 with the predator I been getting a the glow plug malfunction warning. I haven't had drained batteries, or hard starts, just the error code with the SES light. Could this be caused by the predator, or is my $70 control box bad like I read in another thread. Thanks for any help.

This sounds like the black module to me. I received a P0180. The box is very easy to install.

I tend to figure anything the dealership charges less than $300 for is REAL easy to do. When charges get above that you might even need to use tools beyond a screwdriver in your leatherman. When things get into the thousands I might have to break out a book use specialized tools. :)

Did you try dumping the tune uploading the facotry setting and reinstalling the tune first? I've had false SES lights a time or two and the code never repeated after reinstall was complete.
