Anyone here running an aftermarket airdam that is solid? What I mean is, where the big vent in the middle of the stock airdam is (between the hooks).
I would like to try a different airdam, I can get my hands on one but it's a bit of cash to just try out if it is going to get the temps raised to much?
Let me know your thoughts.....

Mines an 01 and it does have the vents in the bumper, but the airdam has an opening that deflects the air upward at the radiator and trans cooler.....just hate to spend the money to have it run too hot....?
Guess I got a little bit of deciding to do....?

Can't you temporarily block it off with some aluminized duct tape, cardboard or other material? Seems that would be a cheap way to check it out.

Thats a good Idea, I'll try that for the rest of the week?
I'm gonna go ahead and get the airdam, I can always sell it on ebay if it don't work......
