I'm looking for some paintable towing mirrors. I hate that black textured crap. I want to be able to paint the entire mirror assembly. I know some of the "heads" can be painted. Does anybody have any ideas?

Ditto that, I am considering just color matching the head though.

I had mine painted. They did not sand them down and they look fine to me.

I don't have any close up pic's but this may help.
Also I was not able to remove the mirrors so it was painted assembled. tape off where you don't want paint. Also have to be careful in the area's where the mirror folds in.

I don't think I would paint them myself but removing them for a body shop to do is an option. How much did they charge with them still on th truck?
