I called PPE and they said it was ok.

I had my doubts but tried it anyway. the short story is boost would spike to 40 psi even with the controller turned all the way down and the switch on the first setting.

I completely took out the boost controller and boost maxed out at a little less than 30 psi...say maybe 28 psi.
